Welcome to our FAQ section! We understand that navigating the process of creating a website can be overwhelming, so we've compiled answers to some common questions about what happens next after you've contacted us. Read on to learn more about our process and what to expect when working with us.
Getting started is easy! Simply reach out to me via my website or social media channels, and I'll send you a link to my website along with an online form. This form helps me understand your needs, including how many pages you want on your website, any additional extras you're interested in, your preferred project start date, payment plan preferences, and whether you'd like a discovery call.
Once I receive your completed form, I'll create a tailored proposal and email it to you. You'll have the opportunity to schedule a discovery call or ask any additional questions you may have. If you're happy with the proposal, I'll send you the terms, conditions, contract, and first invoice. The first invoice payment is due upon signing the contract.
I offer several payment options to suit your needs, including 50% Deposit Upfront, 25% After Design Completion, 25% On Design Sign Off, 3 Month Payment Plan, 6 Month Payment Plan, and Full Payment Upfront. I'm also flexible and open to discussing alternative payment plans if needed.
After I receive your first payment, I'll create a client portal for you using Trello. Don't worry if you're not tech-savvy – I'll include a welcome video with instructions on how to use the board. This Trello board will be where we keep important documents and where you can upload all the files and copywriting I need to complete your website design.
If you're on a 1, 2, or 3-page website package and don't opt for additional extras like basic copy or stock images, I'll only input what you provide on the client portal. If you don't provide anything within the project timescale, I'll design the website and leave blank spaces for you to fill out the data once the project is handed over.
The 4+ page studio website package includes basic SEO, copy, and stock images. Please note that the 1, 2, or 3-page packages do not include basic SEO.
The main difference is that the 1, 2, or 3-page websites are built on the Wix Classic Editor, while the 4+ page website is built on the new Studio Editor. Additionally, the 1, 2, or 3-page websites include 1 revision, whereas the 4+ page website includes 2 revisions. Additional revisions can be purchased if needed.
The timeline for website design can vary depending on the complexity of your project and your responsiveness. Once I have all the necessary information and materials, I aim to complete the design within 3-8 weeks, keeping you informed at every stage of the process.
Absolutely! I want to ensure your website meets your expectations, so I provide opportunities for revisions during the design process. After the website is completed and handed over, you'll have the option to request additional changes or updates as needed. Additional charges may apply for significant changes beyond the scope of the initial project.
While I do not offer ongoing technical support after the website is launched, I'm here to assist you with any initial questions or concerns you may have. Should you encounter technical issues or need assistance during the launch phase, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'll do my best to provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition.
Yes! I prioritise responsive design to ensure your website looks great and functions seamlessly across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. This ensures an optimal user experience for your visitors, regardless of the device they're using.
While I don't directly provide hosting and domain registration services, you can easily purchase a hosting plan and domain through Wix or another reputable provider. I can guide you through the process and ensure your website is properly configured for optimal performance once you've obtained your hosting and domain.
