Hello and welcome to my first ever blog.
Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being here and reading this, I also want to introduce myself to you and tell you all about my new business venture, Zoe Powell Designs.
Lets start with me, I am Zoe, wife to John, mum to two little ones William 3 years and Olivia 7 months and dog mum to Ruby. It is very hectic being a mum to such young children, running a business, keeping up with the household chores and finding free time for my hobbies however, when I do find that precious time I like to spend it gardening, relaxing with a hot cup of coffee, crocheting or sitting in my lay-z-spa.
I have been using Wix to create and manage websites for 10 years. It started off just helping my mother with her business, she needed a really basic website creating and I had studied A Level ICT and spent my childhood on the computer so I said I would give it a try. As her business grew I had to expand my knowledge of using Wix, how to improve the website SEO and also learning graphic design to provide her with a business logo, PDF forms, gift cards, roller banners, basically anything that she needed.
My specialty is to help small businesses get online and assist them so their business grows. I can provide you with a basic introductory website through to an online store or booking system. I will ensure the website stands out from the crowd and works on all devices including mobile phones. I will also provide ongoing support packages for the websites I create. I would never want you to feel stuck and confused on what you need to do with your website.
Although SEO (search engine optimisation) is not my specialty I will complete the basics on your websites. It is vital for your business to be optimised for search engines, if this hasn't happened you will be losing organic traffic to your website. Advanced SEO is definitely something I am going to improve my skills on.
This is a very exciting time in my life. I have never been brave enough to start a new business, that was until I had my beautiful children. I don't want to be working full time weekends and not get to spend any quality time together as a family of 4.
